We exist to create better outcomes.

Carrick Management is a professional organisation, but the heart of the business is personal.

the ideas, mission, customs, and social behaviour of your business
the construction, arrangement and organisation of your business
the planning, direction and movement of your business
the funding for the activities of your business

We have colleagues not clients

Carrick Management is a professional organisation, but the heart of the business is personal.

In Gaelic, the word Carrick means “rock” and we aim to be the rock on which you can improve your business.

Like Carrickfergus Castle, Carrick Management is built around the Keep. It’s strong, safe, secure; a foundation to build on, support and protect your growth.

Colleagues of Carrick Management are part of that growth and are supported to improve their business through a collaborative approach utilising Carrick’s business expertise.

Consultation leading to understanding of what the business needs to do to thrive. Carrick Management is supported by a worldwide network of associates to ensure that implementation leads to a visible impact.

What our colleagues say...

In early 2019 I acquired McGill, a Scottish construction company that, after 38 years in business, had entered administration. Harry supported our board of directors and the wider team in re-establishing the business. Harry’s experience and expert opinion were invaluable and instrumental in the rapid growth of the company. I have no hesitation in recommending Harry to any business looking for a strong, reliable and honest leader who will integrate with the existing team and deliver results.

Back in 2010 when I first met Harry MacLean, he was the CEO of Dundee Football club. The owner of the football club had withdrawn financial support and Harry was trying to manage the club in extremely difficult circumstances. The very existence of the club was at stake at that time.
In my opinion Harry did a tremendous job of managing a number of complex financial, operational, personnel and PR issues all under the gaze of the public eye and with the added emotional pressure from Dundee fans. In addition, Harry gathered financial support from fans and investors which directly enabled the club to successfully emerge from Receivership in 2011 and continue to trade up to the present time.

In the Wintershall Maria and Vega infill project, Nicola was the TFMC Project Manager for delivering the Well Control System. Nicola included the customer as part of the project team, acted open, responsible and creative in accordance with our core values. Identifying challenges early, being proactive and mitigating issues by finding solutions where others only seen problems are some of Nicolas’ best abilities. She kept track of all her responsibilities, as well as side projects where we benefitted from collaboration.
The structure and systems in her project where spotless. Nevertheless, when met with challenges Nicola kept calm, demonstrated an extreme working capacity and found the best solutions to the problem at hand. As the customer representative I struggle to see where she could improve and consider the future projects to get Nicola on the team, lucky. All the best in your future positions!

As a senior in the Hendrik Veder Group, I’ve had the pleasure of working with Harry for the past five years. The oil industry has been in turmoil since 2014, and Harry demonstrated his hard work and business dedication working with us. Our Norwegian entity needed significant restructuring to ensure stability and growth; Harry took the lead, conducting a turnaround leading to a successful repositioning of our Norwegian unit. I give him my highest recommendations!

Harry has been a loyal and active supporter of ABF The Soldiers' Charity, regularly participating in gruelling challenges to fundraise on our behalf, encouraging and inspiring many others to do the same. He has taken on more than a dozen major challenge events so far, including four 54-mile Cateran Yomps in the Scottish Cairngorms, two London Marathons and a 100km Front Line Walk across the World War 1 Battlefields of France.
In recent years, Harry has been a sponsor of the Cateran Yomp and a source of useful and pertinent advice to me and our event planning team. ABF The Soldiers' Charity helps soldiers, veterans and their families through life across the globe and could not do so without the incredible and generous support of the likes of Harry 'Mac'. Thank you very much!

Nicola worked on a project for Maggie's Dundee. Nicola is a quick learner and very intuitive. She quickly identified some of the challenges facing our charity and it's place within the industry. Nicola made some good recommendations to take things forward. In addition to having great business acumen, Nicola is very approachable and has been a great asset.
